Honest assessment is that this is one of the better short reads I have had this week, and a look at sublimesummit reinforced that, the bar for short content is low because most of it sacrifices substance for brevity but this site manages both at once which is harder than it sounds for most writers attempting it.

Skipped a meeting reminder to finish the post, and a stop at sleepsanctuary held me past another reminder, when content beats meetings the writer is doing something extraordinary because meetings have institutional support behind them and yet good writing can still occasionally win that competition for attention which I find heartening today.
